Waiters are essential members in any restaurant's staff. They are the faces of a food establishment—men and women with pleasing personalities that recommend dishes and serve orders with utmost care.  Other than serving food, waiters are responsible for other aspects of a restaurant's operation. That is why a restaurant without waiters is like a tow truck without a heavy-duty tow crane.

Waiters usher customers to their tables. They are also in charge of taking the diners' exact orders. They must also be ready to attend to additional requests from the clients since it is their job to make the dining experience satisfying.

Because coordination is a key component in a successful business operation in restaurants, waiters coordinate their tasks to deliver efficient services. The manager or supervisor must also keep a close watch on the staff in case a customer needs special attention. Calling for them especially during busy hours can be a hassle and can cause untoward incidents. A whiteboard is only an unnecessary expense; it will not even be helpful if the waiter is far away and cannot see his or her name written on the board.

A far more efficient way to coordinate workflow within the restaurant is by using a waiter paging system. Through portable beepers, managers and supervisors can silently notify waiters about tasks that they need to do. This way, diners can enjoy their meals without being disturbed. This paging system is excellent for large restaurants that have many waiters.

The waiter paging system can accommodate at least sixteen individual pagers. The manager on duty can simply press the pager number of the waiter he/she wants to call. Moreover, task reminders can also be distributed using the system's panel effectively notifying waiters of their scheduled duties. These pagers allow the staff to give the best service they can. After all, when customers are satisfied with the treatment they received in a restaurant, they are more likely to return in the future.

waiter paging system is not limited to restaurants though. Other establishments that have multiple employees (such as hospitals, malls, and schools) can make use of similar paging technologies. The investment in a restaurant paging system is usually a simple yet effective way to increase productivity and profit.
