Scrapbooking For Your Next Anniversary
What do you get the girl that has everything? Ok, ok, I know, I know: no girl can truly have everything (show me a woman who has a pet whale and I'll concede), the phrase is more of a battle call for men who are truly stumped on what to get their wife or girlfriend. You've gotten her that piece of womens jewelry she's been wanting and you've even given her that piece of art that she wouldn't stop talking about. Now that your anniversary is coming up chances are you're completely out of good ideas and she won't be dropping many hints as she thinks that you should "already know what to get her." Sorry guys, I know we are confusing.
So, since everything that you can buy seems to be out, have you thought about possibly making her something? Yes, I know, it might sound ridiculous, but hear me out: women love things that contain personality, and nothing contains more personality than something made with your own two hands. Let me explain a bit further: we are not talking about drawing a picture or a painting or something like that, I'm taking about something that looks and seems thoughtful, and contains something that women love: pictures. This can include either making a picture frame or creating a scrapbook that show's off the most wonderful moments of your relationship.
I don't expect men to understand this but women love scrapbooking. We love the idea of photos to begin with, but putting them in a book and decorating them with pictures and colorful paper: we absolutely adore it. Chances are, a wife or girlfriend will not ask a guy to scrapbook with them because they know that it's typically not their thing. But the truth is, if a guy was to create a scrapbook on his own and presents it to her on a birthday or anniversary? Well, that's just about the greatest, sexiest thing in the world.
A few things to note, though: if you're going the scrapbook route you have to make sure that you are committed to doing a good job. In other words: make sure you know what you're doing. It's not rocket science really, just paper, photos and stickers, but it does need to be done in a cute, clean way. Check out some of the scrapbooking magazines that are sold or even attend a free scrapbooking class that are given at specialty shops. That way you can be sure to make a gift for your significant other that she will love and cherish for years to come.
