Online Gift Catalogs Have Great Gifts for Any Occasion
When you have an extended family as large as mine, it can be tough to find perfect gifts for everyone on your list. That is why I do most of my shopping using online catalogs. They are the perfect solution. You can always find that special something for everyone.
Finding the right gifts for kids can be hard. I've got a bunch of nieces and nephews all still below the age where gift cards can be acceptable. Besides, it really feels good to see their faces light up when they open up a tangible present as opposed to a boring old gift certificate. One of my favorite things to do is to hunt down the perfect personalized products that represent each child's personality. I have a group of girlfriends I have remained close with since college and every summer we meet up at some great destination and spend a weekend catching up. This past year I surprised them both with a cute necklace that carried a pendent of three friends holding hands. I thought it was wonderful representation of our friendship and a reminder that even though most of the year we are far apart, we are still close in spirit. They loved them some much it was a battle to get them to take them off for their massages at the spa. I liked to think that those gifts added a special touch to an already perfect weekend.
Who says I can't treat myself once in awhile. I was doing a bit of shopping on my favorite online gift catalog's website when I came across a personalized charm bracelet. I was instantly transported back to middle school when I would save my allowance and blow it on my collection of charms. I loved that bracelet. So what the heck? I ordered it with my initials engraved on the first charm, just like the one that was given to me for my twelfth birthday. I know it's a bit silly, but hey, it's also a lot of fun.
