Salvia Divinorum or SD, has some other names like Magic Mint, Sage plant, Maria Pastora, Diviners Sage and Sally D. Shams in Mexico have been using this plant as a supplement to achieve blissful, trance like state without much effort. Salvia’s qualities have earned it another name that is ‘Sage of Seers’.

Salvia which is a Mexican plant is a known psychotherapy aid. Salvia Divinorum is known to have good effects on many complex human diseases, including cardiovascular, cancer and even AIDs. Salvia is also good in relieving extreme pain, Alzheimer, Schizophrenia and treating insomnia too. Salvia Divinorum is a non-toxic and non-addictive herb with many qualities.

Salvia Divinorum is used to cure acne, boils and many other hot skin problems. It removes toxin deposits from skin and returns its natural shine without any other treatment. It has been found to improve blood circulation in myocardium which helps the heart work well and get over many problems. In China, majority of women prefer Salvia Divinorum to any other medicine for their menstrual disorders. Salvia has been identified as a good stress reliever, attention improver, and as an anxiety and depression remover. It helps in memory recovery, self realization, introspective, blissful and achieving trance. A common experience is weightless floating in the universe.

However, Salvia is better known and mostly used as a psychedelic stimulator. It helps one recall lost memories, infuse selflessness, meditation and the ultimate joy of trance.  Salvia has many forms of consumptions. Those who can get fresh salvia leaves may like to crush it and extract juice, or boil it with water and prepare tea with some mix-up. Chewing is another form, if you know how to extract its full benefit by this method. Smoking it is the most prevailing form though.
