Database administration is a job that is at its peak in these times. There are quite many positions that you could go with and one of them that people are mostly interested in is the Oracle database administrator. This is a position that will engage you in managing Oracle software based databases. So what you will do as a database administrator will be to have the software functions and installations overseen of a computerized system that was designed so that many people inside an organization or a corporation would use it.



And of course, because we are living in hard times of economical crisis, people are really curious when it comes to the salary of such a position. The salary will also depend on where you life, but the average yearly salary is stacked at $52,000 and can even go up to $84,000. Because you will be the one who will practically know about software more than anyone else in the corporation, you should also be aware of new software that is launched.
