Working from home can be very difficult and you can find it hard to stay motivated. There may be others in the house watching TV or just having fun and you're in your home office trying to work. It's easy to start procrastinating and stop making money. You have to avoid this problem or your business will surely fail. Many problems can plague a home business. The good news is that for every problem there's a solution IF you can stop procrastinating long enough to rectify the problems. People put things off for lots of reasons. Fear is a real killer. It may be fear of failure, loss, pain and even success. What you fear becomes your reality. Address the problems and break that dangerous cycle. 90% of what you fear won't become a reality. The best way to stop fear is to do what you fear. Imagination exaggerates fear out of all proportion and is unrealistic most of the time. Not having set goals to help achieve the desired results can really harm your business. It takes discipline and the knowledge that it can take 30 days or more to establish new habits and break the bad ones. Stay focused and not put things off. The more you procrastinate, the easier it is to keep doing it and your list of things to do only grows longer. Make a daily list of tasks that need doing, prioritize it and work on achieving everything on the list. That's the only way you'll ever move forward and succeed. Running any business is hard. Being your own boss means having to push yourself because nobody else will do it. It's easy to become overwhelmed when you're juggling too many tasks at once. Learn what's really important and focus on those things first. Say no to people that want you to do things that only rob you of precious time with no real benefit to your business. Allow yourself some personal time for fun and relaxation as well. You can't work every hour of every day because you'll burn out and become resentful. By scheduling important time for yourself, you'll be able to recharge the batteries. Then you'll be energized enough to work harder and smarter and get a lot more done. Many people suffer from perfection paralysis. It's ok if your work isn't perfect, as long as it's usable/workable. Everything you do will be imperfect in some way and that's fine. Trust your instincts and you'll find they're right most of the time. If you're not getting the results you want from your work from home business, it's easy to start procrastinating and stop making money. Take the steps to avoid this major hurdle and you'll be one step closer to achieving your goals.
